About Me
I'm Dr. Liana Palermo, a chiropractor specializing in network spinal care and an art therapy coach specializing in neurographica and neuro art. I developed this transformative approach to gently engage your brain's natural neuroplasticity to support calm, focus, and self-reflection. I'll explain why in a moment.
I had always envisioned working within my spinal care profession, sharing the phenomenon of network spinal entrainment with people until the very last day of my life. Someone surely laughs when we make plans, however...
"I suffered three severe spinal fractures in my life. The third one almost ruined me. I became an invalid overnight, with little hope of recovery."
Digging deep into the spinal neural integrity I had cultivated over the years, professionally and personally, plus a whole lot of tenacity, my life force began to surge again... I let art dominate my thoughts and outward expression. I began to hope that I might be of service again one day.
As internet rabbit holes go, I came upon a "simple" drawing tutorial one day. Like a whisper somewhat strained to hear, a wave of calm and serenity crept in. I was amazed, and even more so as I began to learn about neuro art and its direct effect on the nerve system and mental health!
I knew instantly that somehow, this was to be my next chapter. My inner science nerd was thrilled to learn how an emerging field called neuroaesthetics is discovering the many accessible ways neuroplasticity works.
My desire to help people achieve a greater, fuller experience of mental and physical health and how the arts can help is the momentum behind the creation of this unprecedented coloring book.
"It is my heartfelt wish that you find peace and relaxation that is available from within, nurtured and enhanced through the simple daily practice of drawing lines, softening the edges where they all meet, and coloring life into your world!"
